Strategic Initiatives Manager

Sheri Lyons serves as OperationsInc’s Strategic Initiatives Manager, bringing 25 years of diverse client solutions and HR experience to the team. She has pioneered the role of Strategic HR in organizations of all sizes, building thriving and inclusive cultures that enhance both the employee and customer experience.

Sheri began her career working in strategic HR roles for startup and high growth organizations in the financial services and pharma/biotech industries. In these positions, she led HR initiatives that included talent acquisition and development, people operations, and workplace culture development.

In 2010, Sheri went on to join medical and dental supply distributor Henry Schein as Manager, Global Human Resources. There, she was a partner for leadership and all HR functional areas managing organizational development, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, M&A, compensation, and recruiting initiatives.

Sheri then moved to a Team Schein Relations Manager role, where she designed and delivered leadership and culture development programs for the Fortune 200 company. She also became a member of the organization’s global strategic planning team, responsible for establishing and monitoring human capital goals, objectives, and metrics.

Sheri later joined medical device startup Imacor, Inc. as Director, Human Resources. There, she created and developed people strategy and worked closely with the firm’s C-suite and venture capital investors.

In 2014, Sheri moved to Kliger-Weiss Infosystems where she spent three years as Chief of Staff and Chief Human Resources Executive. In this role, she was responsible for oversight and execution of the company’s strategic planning processes and management of Senior Leadership Team effectiveness.

Sheri most recently served as Director of Client Solutions for The Ken Blanchard Companies, leading cross-functional client success teams. She also provided support to organizations through her private practice as a Leadership Development Consultant and People & Culture Advisor for several years.

In her role at Operationsinc, Sheri’s main responsibilities include expanding and maintaining relationships with the firm’s strategic partners and providing support to several OperationsInc business groups, including The CEO Roundtable and various chapters of The HR Roundtable.

Sheri earned a B.A. from the University of Iowa and an M.S. in HR and Labor Relations from the New York Institute of Technology. She has also earned a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and is a certified master coach.

A native of Iowa, Sheri now resides with her husband, four children, and dog on Long Island.
