Valerie Boggs is a Manager, Payroll & HRIS Technology Services with more than 20 years of diverse payroll and HR experience. Her areas of subject matter expertise include payroll technology management, multi-jurisdictional payrolls, project management, and technology implementations and upgrades.

Valerie began her payroll career as a Senior Payroll Agent with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts where she processed high-volume, multi-state payrolls for more than 80,000 employees. She also maintained and managed the time and allocation system and conducted pre and post-payroll reconciliations.

Hyatt then promoted Valerie into a Payroll Trainer role, where her payroll subject matter expertise was demonstrated through her facilitation and delivery of payroll training and development of other payroll team members. Her instruction included navigation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

In 2012, Valerie moved on to join Cedar Creek Lumber as a Human Resources / Payroll Administrator, where she conducted new hire screening and background checks, built and executed new hire processes, performed payroll and HR audits, and processed multi-state payrolls for more than 600 employees. In this role, she also served as a project manager for technology system upgrades.

Several years later, Valerie then joined Coreslab Structures, where she served as a Human Resources / Payroll Administrator in a union environment, managing the group’s HR and payroll functions. This work included processing payroll, creating and rolling out HR policy and procedures, processing 401(k) enrollments and loans, managed open enrollment, and implemented new payroll technology products.

In 2016, Valerie began service as a Human Resources Manager for the State of Oklahoma, where she served for several years managing the HR function. This work included managing and executing performance management, recruiting, and employee relations programs, as well as developing and rolling out new policies.

Prior to joining the OperationsInc team, Valerie was a Senior Manager, Payroll Services for OneDigital. In this role, Valerie managed multi-state payrolls and HRIS systems for multiple clients. She also managed system conversions and implementations related to payroll and time and attendance programs.

At OperationsInc, Valerie supports clients of varying size and industry, providing high-level payroll support and guidance.

Valerie earned a B.A. from the University of Phoenix, is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and earned a PHR from the HR Certification Institute. She resides in Arizona.
