What do you already know about our company?
Provided this question is asked early on in the interview you can really learn a lot about the candidate and their preparation for this meeting. Someone who recites back to you what you had in the ad…and not a lot more…is not nearly as attractive as the candidate that went to your website, read press releases, went to some industry sites, etc. The more research a candidate for employment has performed on your firm before the interview the more serious they may be about the opportunity.
