Survey Says 34% of Employers Struggle to Compete for Talent

A recent survey conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) found that 34 percent of employers struggle to complete for talent. Bloomberg BNA reports that 19 percent of those businesses surveyed have altered their benefits packages in the past 12 months to attract and retain employees. While ramping up benefit offerings is a great means to attract and retain teams, Bloomberg BNA cautions that many employees are unaware of the benefits offered to them, and advises employers to be sure to communicate all aspects of benefit packages to their staff, and to offer benefits that are actually of interest to their employees.
