COMPANY SIZE

Key Finding:

  • 33% of respondents have 50 employees or less.
  • 42% of respondents have 51-250 employees.
  • 25% of respondents have over 250 employees.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Key Finding:

  • Almost 73% of respondents have formal job descriptions for every role.
  • Only 7% of respondents have no formal job descriptions.

UPDATE FREQUENCY

Key Finding:

  • Of those who indicated that they have job descriptions:
    • Over 82% of respondents update their job descriptions as needed
    • Over 15% of respondents update their job descriptions annually
    • 2% of respondents update their job descriptions twice a year

 

JOB DESCRIPTIONS USAGE

Key Finding:

  • Of those who indicated that they have job descriptions:
    • 98% of respondents use their job descriptions for recruiting
    • Over 78% of respondents use their job descriptions for performance reviews/ performance
    management
    • 49% of respondents use their job descriptions for salary benchmarking
