OperationsInc Announces Promotions Within Executive Team


Norwalk, CT. [January 17, 2017] Human resources outsourcing and consulting firm OperationsInc ( has announced the promotion of seven of its employees within the group’s executive team. The Norwalk-based consultancy provides HR, Payroll, Training & Development, and Talent Acquisition related services to over 1,300 clients throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Executive Team Promotions:

Elissa Biegen – VP, HR Consulting

Elissa Biegen rejoined OperationsInc in 2014, and has been promoted to the role of VP, HR Consulting. Biegen brings over 25 years of human resources experience to the OperationsInc team. In addition to supporting a large client base, Biegen also co-leads the HR Consulting & Support Team.

Biegen earned a B.B.A. in Personnel Management from George Washington University.

Jennifer Clark – Director, Talent Acquisition Services

Jennifer Clark joined OperationsInc in 2013, and has been promoted to the position of Director, Talent Acquisition Services. Clark has over 22 years of diverse recruiting experience, previously working for executive search firms as well as serving as an in-house recruiting resource for an international law firm. In addition to setting client recruiting and talent strategies, Clark also oversees and manages the OperationsInc Talent Acquisition Division.

Clark earned a B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Rhode Island.

Meghan Hopkins – VP, HR Business Development

Meghan Hopkins has been promoted to the role of VP, HR Business Development after succeeding in several different roles since joining OperationsInc in 2013. Hopkins brings 20 years of diverse HR experience to the HR consultancy, and serves as an initial interface with new clients, providing strategic support plans and project outlines.

Hopkins earned a B.A. in English and Management from Fairfield University.

Lisa Johnson – VP, Training & Development Services

Lisa Johnson joined OperationsInc in 2012, and has been promoted to VP, Training & Development Services. Johnson has more than 18 years of facilitation and curriculum design experience, and has trained thousands of client employees during her OperationsInc tenure.

Johnson earned a B.S. in Business Economics from The State University New York College at Oneonta.

Kelly Kristan – VP, Talent Acquisition Services & Business Development

Kelly Kristan, now promoted to VP, Talent Acquisition Services & Business Development at OperationsInc, joined the firm in 2014. Kristan has over 22 years of diverse recruiting experience, and serves as the initial interface for all new Talent Acquisition clients, providing clients with strategic guidance on how to better their talent function.

Kristan earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Resource Management from The University of Bridgeport and a B.A. in Psychology from Manhatanville College.

Angela McDermott – VP, HR Consulting

Angela McDermott joined OperationsInc in 2007, and has been promoted to the position of VP, HR Consulting after almost a decade of service to the firm in various leadership and strategic HR positions. McDermott, who has over 18 years of HR experience, will continue to co-lead the HR Consulting and Support Team, serve as the VP of HR for ongoing clients, manage the internal OperationsInc HR function, and serve as the project lead for new client assignments.

McDermott earned a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant, Travel, and Business Administration from The University of Massachusetts.

Stacy Nicholas – VP, Payroll Services & Business Development

Stacy Nicholas has been promoted to VP, Payroll Services & Business Development. Nicholas joined OperationsInc in 2007 after working in a supervisory capacity for a major payroll company. Nicholas leads the OperationsInc Payroll Division, which processed over $2B in payroll for its clients in 2016.

Nicholas earned a B.S in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting from The State University of New York College at Oneonta.
