OperationsInc Partners With University of New Haven on Internship Program

LATEST RESOURCE REPRESENTS SIX YEARS OF SUCCESSFUL ENGAGEMENTS

 

Stamford, CT. [June 4, 2008] It is with great pleasure that OperationsInc, a leading human resources consulting firm based in Stamford, CT, announces the hiring of the newest member of their team – Ashley Rebmann, assuming the role of Intern. Ashley is the sixth student from the University of New Haven (UNH) to join the OperationsInc team as a result of a mutually beneficial partnership with the UNH Graduate Assistant Internship Program.

“OperationsInc has worked with students participating in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology (MAIOP HR/OD) graduate programs at UNH to obtain the practical work experience needed to enhance their studies and better prepare them for the future “,stated David Lewis, President of OperationsInc. “There has been a significant positive impact felt as a result of incorporating UNH students into our organization via Internship opportunities since 2002. Ashley represents the latest participant in what has been a mutually beneficial partnership.”

According to Professor Stuart Sidle, who is the Director of the Industrial / Organizational Psychology graduate program at the University of New Haven, “OperationsInc has provided several of our graduate students with fantastic internship experiences. I appreciate the efforts that David Lewis, of OperationsInc puts into developing our students who are aspiring HR and OD professionals. Ashley Rebmann has a passion for learning and will push herself hard to experience the many aspects of the world of Human Resources.  She is an excellent student who always goes beyond the work required to earn a top grade and truly masters the material at a deep level. I know she will bring that same drive that she demonstrates in the classroom to her career as an HR professional.  I am thrilled that she has this internship opportunity with OperationsInc.”

Ashley will be involved with various projects of a Human Resources nature, including assisting several of OI’s Human Resources Professionals at their client’s sites with various HR projects. Ashley will continue her involvement with the Society for Human Resource Management with her support of the New Haven County Chapter. Ashley holds a B.A. Psychology, Minor in Business Studies from the State University of New York at Geneseo in New York and is scheduled to graduate with a M.A. Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven in 2009.
