Norwalk, CT. [Jan. 9, 2015] OperationsInc (www.OperationsInc.com), a leading human resources outsourcing and consulting firm based in Norwalk, kicked off 2015 by teaming up to raise more than $1,800.00 to feed the area’s hungry.
For each company branded item worn by employees, the HR firm donated $20.00 worth of food and gift cards to The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County (www.foodbanklfc.org). Members of the 60 person OperationsInc team collectively wore over 90 items of corporate branded apparel, all in an effort to ensure local families in need will not go hungry this winter season. Employees of the organization also contributed additional non-perishable items requested by the Food Bank to supplement the corporate donation made by OperationsInc.
“I am extremely proud of the efforts made by our team to support our food drive,” said David Lewis, president and CEO of OperationsInc. “The delivery of these needed items to the food pantry at this time of year is a great way to show our support as we enter these colder winter months.”
