Recent Survey Shows Remote Workers Hitting Their Stride, Becoming More Comfortable in This New Setting
Norwalk, CT. [April 28, 2020] OperationsInc (www.OperationsInc.com), a Norwalk, CT-based human resources consulting firm, has found that 39 percent of remote workers are finding working remotely easier than it was just a few weeks ago.
“It is certainly encouraging to see that such a large bulk of those polled have found a better balance and routine for their remote work approach,” said OperationsInc CEO, David Lewis.
OperationsInc, which is one of the largest HR consulting practices in the country, surveyed more than 400 remote workers to measure how, after being forced into remote work arrangements in response to COVID-19, workers are acclimating to at home work from both a productivity and routine perspective.
The poll found that:
- 39% of those surveyed reported that working from home is now easier than it was when they shifted to remote work.
- 46% reported no change in ease or comfort level.
- 10% responded that remote work has become more challenging.
- 2% are unsure.
- 3% preferred not to respond.
Lewis noted that these findings are promising, especially considering staggered workforces and remote work may become constants in the near future.
“If we are to be working from home for part of most of the coming months, we need to do so productively. This poll result gave us hope,” Lewis added.
OperationsInc has guided organizations on how to successfully launch, manage, and engage remote teams since 2001.
