Angela McDermott

Chief Operating Officer

Angela McDermott is the Chief Operating Officer of OperationsInc, managing internal operations, professional services teams, and the Information Technology Department. She also supports the CEO in both strategic and day-to-day management of the organization. Angela served in numerous roles at OI prior to being named COO, including VP of HR Consulting, Director of HR Consulting, Manager of HR Consulting, HR Generalist, Compliance Leader, Junior HR Generalist, and Office Administrator.

Before joining OI in 2007, Angela was an HR Generalist at NASDAQ for over two years, and an HR Assistant/Associate at Lazard Freres & Company for over four years, working in areas such as employee relations, onboarding and terminations, recruitment, and policy and procedure development.

Angela earned a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant, Travel, and Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts.

What is your greatest achievement, so far, at OI?

“My greatest achievement is building a leadership team focused on integrity, collaboration and innovation. These qualities are core components of operational excellence, customer relations and financial management.”

What makes you unique in your profession?

“My background in Human Resources and customer service is unique in my role. This experience compliments the relationships and knowledge gained during my tenure at OI, contributing to my ability to oversee day-to-day operations and lead the execution of the organizational strategy.”
